40-to-40 Writing Challenge

Come along and read as I challenge myself to write 40 blogs in the 40 days leading up to my 40th birthday, on August 28th. This challenge is significant to me for many reasons, which I'm sure will be shared with you over the next 40 days! Some posts may be long (read: most) and some will be short. I'm gonna let them be whatever they turn out to be each day. I hope you get a little something something out of it. At least you can say, you knew me before I turned 40!

THE PURPOSE OF THIS BLOG...

For those times when I just have to write.

For those times when I feel like my experience is not unique and that my thoughts/feelings could benefit others.

For the times when I feel like my authenticity and transparency will make the difference between someone feeling alone and someone feeling seen, heard, understood, and loved.

It will be like me: all over the place. So don't look for a theme beyond being a sincere expression of my thoughts and feelings at the time.
