Warren's Prayer

I AM a Prince.
One day, I WILL BE a King.
I AM Heir to the Throne of the Kingdom
Of GOD’S Greatest People.
I AM a Black Child,
Born to my Black Mother
Displaced from her Mother Africa,
Knowing and Loving my Blackness,
I KNOW and LOVE my Greatness.
I AM Proud.
I AM Strong.
I WILL LIVE a Long Life of Respecting my Body,
Doing what will keep it Well,
And repelling the poisons placed before me.
I WILL EMBRACE my Brothers and Sisters
With a Powerful LOVE
And I WILL BE Victorious over any enemies
That threaten my Rightful Place.
I HONOR my Black Queens and Princesses,
And SHALL NOT ALLOW them to be dishonored in my Presence.
I shall place NO OTHER on a higher pedestal than them,
And urge others to follow my Example.
Each day that I AM BLESSED enough to wake
I THANK GOD for the Opportunity
To BE MORE, TO DO MORE, and TO HAVE MORE
Than I did yesterday.
Each night that I SAFELY ARRIVE at my bed,
My Sleep will be Restful and my Mind Replenished,
So that I MAY EMBARK on tomorrow’s Journey at my Best.
I AM a Black Prince and one day, I WILL BE a Black King.
For this, I AM truly Thankful.
Amen
